Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage with potential customers.
- By using the technical knowledge and understanding a customers suffering points in the industry convert customers and develop and secure the Biz.
- Use the technical knowledge in selling to customers.
- Oversee the objectives and submit reports to the Principal based on provided guidelines.
- Conduct technical seminars for current and prospective clients, offering support and solutions to enhance their operations and resolve issues.
- Organize Lube Clinics for targeted customers to address product-related issues and provide solutions to ensure customer retention.
- Visit client sites during machinery operations related to lubricants. Analyze and resolve issues to provide value-added services and retain customers.
- Prepare and present Lube Charts to customers, highlighting important lubricant parameters for visual representation.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and meet target sales for lubricants.
- Develop and nurture business partnerships by meeting potential customers and establishing mutually beneficial relationships.
- Manage debtors by minimizing financial risk by following up on payments and coordinating with internal teams.
Skills and Experience Required
- Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering automotive or a relevant engineering degree.
- Having Chartered Engineer status.
- Minimum of 10 years in a similar role, with a strong background in automotive and mechanical engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Willing to work longer hours and work outstation areas.
