PROCUREMENT ROLE DESCRIPTION
- Responsible to source vendors, collecting offers, negotiate & purchase materials from both local & overseas vendors as per company requirement.
- Preparing comparative statements for the quotations received.
- Managing Purchase Requests, Creation of Purchase orders in SAP and Vendor follow-up to ensure timely delivery of goods / services.
- Sourcing vendors who can supply with low margin to maximize company savings & develop vendors closer to destination.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in commerce & accounting / science or a related field.
- Certificate in Procurement or Supply Chain Management and experience in SAP or other related procurement software will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 02-05 years proven experience in a similar role.
- Hands on Procurement experience on IT and Non IT Products (Laptop, Desktop, Workstations, UPS, Generator, etc.) will be a definite advantage.
- In-Depth knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies and contract negotiation.
- Ethical and professional conduct, demonstrating integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive procurement information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Technical know-how of MS Office Suite & Mailing system.
