Head of Finance:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive strategic business planning by providing strong financial insights for strategic business planning, preparing budgets, forecasts, and monitoring performance to ensure effective cost control and decision-making.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly management reports and report outcome of risk-based analytics along with actionable insights to mitigate potential risk associate with the business.
• Manage working capital by optimizing stock levels, ensuring efficient debtor collections and supplier settlements, and planning cash flows to maintain financial stability.
• Oversee tax compliance by ensuring effective tax planning, timely tax payments, filing of returns in collaboration with consultants and tax authorities.
• Manage company assets through regular verification, optimization of usage, and ensuring proper insurance coverage for all assets.
• Establish and implement robust SOPs and internal controls to mitigate risks, ensure compliance, and lead internal and external audit processes effectively.
• Optimize cost structures, implement cost-saving initiatives, develop pricing models, and design and implement incentive schemes to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team by setting proper and effective KPIs, addressing training needs, and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified CA and a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management.
• 3-5 years of experience in healthcare industry, in the similar capacity and with a proven track record for excellent performance.
• Strong analytical and strategic skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• In-depth knowledge of SLFRS, tax compliance, and internal controls.
• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
